What exactly do you mean by “team resources”?
Green Mars could not provide the quality of service we promote without a full team of resources to support our reliability, maintainability, and efficiency.
We couldn’t be a software engineering firm without software engineers. However, our team demonstrates the distinction between a “coder” and an “engineer”. An engineer focuses on the right solution, considering options before committing their ideas to code. They are collaborative with their clients, inquisitive and thorough in their work, and be proud of the software quality they deliver.
Project Managers are often the unsung heroes of a project—∂ they are often the first to know when work is falling behind schedule, and proactively determine the cause and work to resolve any issues efficiently.
We have dedicated project managers (and some really excellent tools) to monitor progress for all client work against stated expectations, to provide transparent communication with our clients when things don’t go according to plan.
QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEERING (QA)
A good QA engineer finds the sweet spot between “not enough testing” and “too much testing”. Our QA engineers live in that sweet spot.
We recommend a budget for testing should range between 15% and 25% of the total. This allows enough time for the QA engineer to efficiently test and report issues with accurate concision, minimizing the cost to resolve bugs, and delivering with stable software to our clients.
The cost of software goes beyond its delivery— the support cost to maintain the software must be included. When software is expertly designed, the ongoing scalability and maintenance is considered from the start.
Our Lead Designers set the standards for all our engineers, to ensure every release is maintainable and extensible. They deliver that consistency with documented design reviews and code reviews with our engineers.
